EA Jigsaw Care provide services that meet our young people’s needs which should enable them to gain increasing confidence and develop into adults in their own right. We can offer personalised support services and packages designed to achieve better outcomes in the short, medium and long term. We aim to assist our young people to take the necessary steps towards being young adults, taking their place in society, increasing their independence. 

We are on hand to guide them to care about themselves, look after themselves, make decisions in their best interests, to study or to work and learn, to cook, tidy, keep their environment clean, manage their emotions, self-care and maintain good personal hygiene.  All of this coming together will assist them to develop into their very best self on the journey of independence.  We have experience in supporting young people with a range of needs.  

For example: 

  • Challenging behaviour 
  • Anger management 
  • Personal hygiene and self-care 
  • Self-harm 
  • Suicidal thoughts/ideation 

We recognise that everyone is unique and therefore we will put together personalised support packages which are tailored to each young person’s needs.  

We can offer packages based upon agreed individual needs which may include getting the young person back into education, transition into independence and adulthood, weekly or monthly goals and planning.  We also have tailored, individualised support, on a 1:1 basis, based on the background and circumstances.  We also have a counsellor available who can offer specialised 1:1 focus sessions to support our young people as required.  Our semi -independant accomodation includes on site support, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.

Where safe and appropriate, EA Jigsaw Care works with members of the young person’s family. It will always be in their best interests, and if the young person gives permission for this to happen.
